Why Hire an Interior Designer?

Hiring an interior designer has many benefits. Here are a few:

  1. Saving money.

Interior designers have access to exclusive brands at designer pricing and discounts. This means that when you are purchasing items from anywhere other than an interior designer, you are paying full retail price. Interior designers can often get you better quality at a better price, and specific to your style, wants and needs. Working with an interior designer can also prevent making mistakes on purchasing the wrong size or style of a piece that you will end up not liking- these mistakes can be expensive ones. They will also prevent mistakes that happen with other professionals by being in communication with them, advocating for your needs and wants, and being present on install days to ensure things are hung and put in place properly. This will save you money from the professionals having to come back to fix their mistakes.

2. Saving time.

When working on a interior design projects, there are a lot of moving parts. Part of an interior designers job is to project manage and coordinate with various contactors, handle all the receiving, storing and installing of items, and making sure everything comes together at the right time. They also have a trained pair of eyes that will see things you’re guaranteed to miss. By catching these little things in the early stages of design, it can save the home owner a great amount of time and frustration.

3. A well designed home increases value well-being.

Interior Designers can add that wow-factor that you have been searching for. Homeowners often get frustrated that they had this beautiful house built or redesigned and after all the builders and contractors leave, they are still left with trying to figure out what and where to place furniture, art and accessories to give them the wow- factor. Working with an interior designer can take away this frustration and give you the turn key service you were wanting all along. When the project is all complete, you will have a well designed, finished project that you can start enjoying right away.
